Today is Labor Day in Mexico...we're taking the day off!

Beverly and Terry: Merida, Yucatan, Mexico; UPDATED 9/19/2013...If you're reading this blog you probably know us pretty well but we have recently made some major changes in our lives...again! We are no longer homeless...bought a 1930's house in El Campo, Tx and busy making it ours. This comes after --- Sold our cars, and recently sold S/V Cool Change so we are now homeless, carless and senseless in Texas....but DO have the casa in Merida. In case you happened upon our blog - we are Proud Texans and we were living the good life on S/V Cool Change on Galveston Bay prior to coming to Merida to the house we bought. We are here because we love La Ermita, our neighbors, the food, nearby beaches, the architecture, the beer, the culture, and just doing nothing. Do we live here permanently? No lo se.
